His professional background includes serving as a General Manager for high-end restaurants, founding and operating a successful catering company, and leading sales organizations as an Operations Manager, where he developed recruiting systems, trained leaders, and scaled business operations.

Under Cal's leadership, Abstar has successfully expanded from a freight operation into a specialized heavy haul management company, providing comprehensive operational support, fleet management, recruiting, dispatch, maintenance coordination, and administrative services for transportation partners. His vision has positioned Abstar as a company focused on building sustainable transportation businesses through disciplined operations, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to excellence.

Bernadette Daley serves as Chief Financial Officer of AbStar Freight Solutions, where she leads the company's financial operations, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, payroll, compliance, and long-term financial strategy. With nearly 30 years of professional experience spanning banking, legal operations, accounting, and corporate finance, she provides the financial leadership and operational discipline that support AbStar's continued growth and the success of its affiliated transportation companies.

A graduate with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting, Bernadette has held leadership roles with organizations including Bank of America, Foley & Lardner LLP, and J.D. Rush Company. She is recognized for building strong financial systems, improving operational efficiency, and delivering the strategic insight that helps organizations grow with confidence. Her commitment to integrity, accountability, and financial excellence makes her an integral member of AbStar's executive leadership team.

Portia Starkes serves as the Lead Administrator for Abstar Management Group, where she oversees administrative operations, recruiting, and organizational support across the company's managed transportation businesses.

With a Master's in Business Administration and a background as a Project Manager in the healthcare industry, Portia brings a strong foundation in leadership, process improvement, and operational management. Since joining the launch of Abstar Freight in 2021, she has played a key role in building the company's administrative infrastructure, developing recruiting processes, and supporting the growth of the organization from its early stages.
